About The Author

Meet C.E. Knight, A Voice Born to Write.

C.E. Knight didn’t set out to be a writer; writing found her. It began in 9th grade with a creative writing class and a few poems scratched out in the margins of school notebooks. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, C.E. Knight has sharpened her pen through writing groups, poetry publications, and the creation of her heartfelt blog, Tea and Comfort.

Her stories are deeply rooted in real emotion, stories of women who carry invisible scars but stand tall anyway. Of love that doesn’t gloss over trauma but holds it tenderly. Of men who choose patience, respect, and empathy in a world that rarely teaches them.

With two poems published early in her journey and more featured in Madmen and Warrior-Women (Thomas Nelson, 2003), C.E. has always written for the ones who feel too deeply and speak too softly. She founded the writer’s circle Stone Soup in 2006, where community and storytelling collided into creative purpose.

C.E. writes from her soul. Her characters are flawed, beautiful, and real. And her mission is simple:
To tell stories that make readers feel seen, understood, and never alone.

Her writing isn’t just fiction; it’s a tribute to the women she’s known, the stories we all carry, and the healing power of the written word.

Personal Note:
This book was inspired by a dear friend, the late Narona Thomas Brown, a fellow poet whose spirit still echoes on every page.
